We sincerely value and cherish the community's support of our mission to continuously improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve through awareness, education, and the highest possible quality of care. To the almost 11,000 patients we served during 2011, we say "Gracias" for allowing us to be your medical and dental care home. We look forward to improving and transforming more lives in 2012. UVALDE, TEXAS - Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius has reappointed Uvalde native Frances Canales to an additional four-year term as a member of the National Advisory Council on Migrant Health. She will serve until 2014. Click here to read the full article.

    • November 22, 2011 - Community Health Development, Inc. Successfully Meets Terms Of Kresge Foundation Challenge Grant
UVALDE, TEXAS - Community Health Development, Inc. (CHDI) proudly announces it has successfully met the terms of the Kresge Foundation Challenge Grant awarded in 2008 and has received full payment of the $1,000,000 grant. CHDI’s “Our Community … Our Health” Capital Campaign raised a total of $1,726,647 from Private sources to meet the terms of the Kresge challenge grant. Click here to read the full article.
